Scrapbook Paper: Patterned Paper
There is a reason why patterned paper is in such demand in scrapbook stores.
It is beautiful. If I could find a way to wallpaper my walls with some of these fantastic designs, I'd do it. I love patterned paper.
But, who doesn't, right? There are so many stunning papers to drool over – and more designs are being released all the time. Every time the Craft and Hobby Association (CHA) has a convention, the scrapbook world goes wild because so many new patterns will be released.
What is also interesting is that there are more and more new paper designers joining in to create more and more truly amazing lines of paper products (and coordinating stickers, rub-ons, transparencies, ribbon and more).
I know so many people who have a love affair with paper. Are you one of them, too?
Some of my favorite patterned paper designers are listed below. Are any of your favorites mentioned, too?
- Basic Grey
- SEI
- Daisy D’s
- Polar Bear Express
- Cosmo Cricket
- 7 Gypsies
- All My Memories
- Creative Imaginations
- Crossed Paths
- Fancy Pants
- K & Company
- Karen Foster
- Sassafras Lass
- Wild Asparagus
- Me and My Big Ideas
Ok, so I like paper. Actually, I more than LIKE paper. I love paper. I collect paper. I’m sure I'll use it on something someday. Have you ever heard that before?
Honestly, though, if I don't use my patterned paper for scrapbooking, I can use it for a lot of other things. I make gorgeous cards with scrapbook paper, especially patterned paper. The cards aren't gorgeous because I make them, they are gorgeous because the paper is so beautiful.
Anyway, my love affair with paper is likely to continue on and on forever as the paper designers and manufacturers keep coming up with stunning papers to keep me interested. If I don't get into therapy soon, I may find myself needing a shed back behind the house just for paper storage. Ok, so it's not that bad. You know what I mean, though, don't you?
