If you have been shopping for scrapbook albums lately, you have discovered that there are some great designs being produced right now. Whatever your subject matter, you can find an album to match your theme. 
Most of the time, you won't have to worry about whether or not an album is acid free. To be sure, though, you can always check the label on the album to be sure it is safe. If in doubt, ask questions of the staff at the store where you are purchasing the album. You probably already know this, but do not use the albums that have adhesive on the pages and clear plastic film to cover the pictures once the pictures are adhered to the pages. What you choose depends upon your goals for the project you are working on. What kind of scrapbook album is your favorite?Not all scrapbook albums are made the same way. Most of the albums on the market today allow for expansion by purchasing refill pages. The most popular album choices are post bound, ringed binders and strap hinge styles. Each one is different and which one you decide to buy really depends upon personal taste more than anything else. Again, preserving your family's memories is important, so choose an album that works for your personal style as well as how well it can stand up to repeated viewings by friends and family.
