Scrapbook Tips and Techniques

You want your scrapbook pages to look their very best. The scrapbook tips and techniques that will make your friends and family members "Oooooohhhh" and "Aaaaaahhhh" over your gorgeous pages are here at Scrapbook Sensations.

There is a lady in our church who has the most amazing scrapbooks. The pages reflect the love she has for her family in such delightfully creative ways. For example, she has a page of one of her grandchildren at about 6 months. The single picture on the page is of the baby sitting up, wearing a white one piece outfit and the photo is taken from behind the baby (so you can see her back). In a magazine, she found an almost identical photo, which she clipped and added to the layout (use archival mist if you fear the acid content of the magazine paper). The two babies look identical. She is always finding elements within the photographs and duplicating them on the layouts.

That is a precious technique that works very well for her. People love to look at her scrapbooks because they have such a neat way of drawing the eye to the various elements on the page.

While that may not be your scrapbooking style, it may give your creativity a spark. That is the whole idea behind these tips and techniques. Read the excellent ideas here and then adapt them to suit your own style – or – use them as you see them. It's all up to you.
